Privacy notice
Last updated 16 October 2026. This notice explains how TERÄS handles the details you send through the request form, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible

What we collect
What you type into the form: email, and optionally name, company, phone, the robots you're interested in, event date, duration, location, guest count, budget band and your message. We also store when the request was sent, your browser language and, if present, the campaign or referring site that brought you here.
Why
To reply to your request, understand which robots people want, and arrange a rental if you go ahead (legal basis: steps prior to a contract, and your consent). We don't use your details for anything else, don't sell them and don't add you to a newsletter unless you ask.
How long
Requests that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 24 months. Booking records are kept as long as Finnish accounting law requires.
Who sees it
Only the TERÄS team and our hosting provider in the EU. Videos on the site, including the background video at the top of the page on larger screens, are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); loading them connects your browser to YouTube and YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
